Driving Ban and Winter Closure on Four Rural Roads
Under the Leukerbad municipal regulations, the rural and forest roads Birchen/Bodmen, Majing/Flüe, Melkerboden and Allmei are generally subject to a driving ban. The municipality can grant tradespeople a special permit for access. From November to April the roads generally stay closed, and the special permits do not apply during this winter closure either. Depending on the weather, the municipal council can shorten or extend the closure.
So when I drive with a vehicle and frames to one of these roads for measuring or installation, I need a permit and an appointment outside the winter closure.

I therefore schedule measuring and installation on these roads outside the winter closure. I apply for the temporary driving permit for tradespeople beforehand.
