Small Animal Shed Close to the House
Under Article 23 of the Brig-Glis building and zoning regulations (Bau- und Zonenreglement), the municipality can allow exceptions to the building distance for secondary structures such as garden sheds, bicycle shelters, small animal sheds or small storage buildings. The condition is that the floor area does not exceed 20 square metres and no hazardous substances are stored inside. This means a small animal shed can stand closer to a house than the otherwise required distance.
