Approval Required at Three Protected Monuments

Article 28 lit. a lists Kapelle Wiler, Gnadenbergkapelle and Franzen-Haus as protected heritage monuments. Anyone who alters them needs approval from the cantonal heritage conservation authorities. This expressly also covers renewing or altering paint and materials, as well as windows, shutters, doors, render, timberwork or roofing.

Work on these three buildings follows the requirements of the cantonal heritage conservation authorities and is carried out in close cooperation with them. Details are clarified with them before the work begins.

By Hand, with a Trial Patch Before Using Any Product

On these buildings, I remove webs and egg sacs first by hand or with a soft brush. Before using any product, I test it on a trial patch and clarify its use with the owners and the cantonal heritage conservation authorities. I do not treat large areas there directly.

This way, I protect the paint and render of the protected buildings during Spider treatment on the facade. Anyone who wants an insect screen on the same windows will find what to look out for on Insect protection on heritage-protected windows in Fiesch.

Questions about Spider treatment in Fiesch

I clean by hand first. I only use a product after a trial patch and by arrangement, because changes to the paint, render and timberwork of this protected building need approval from the cantonal heritage conservation authorities.
