Bird Deterrence in Naters on Heritage Buildings and in the Old Village

Under Art. 57 of the Naters building and zoning regulations (Bau- und Zonenreglement), heritage buildings designated by the municipal council in Hinweisinventare (heritage inventories) may not be demolished, converted or removed without its approval and without an opinion from the cantonal authorities. The article does not mention nets or spikes. I therefore clarify beforehand whether an installation falls under this.

Art. 59 only permits natural stone slabs, natural slate, black Eternit (no corrugated Eternit), shingles and concrete tiles as roofing in Berg and the old village. In the village zones designated by the municipal council, only natural stone slabs are permitted within the approved stone-slab perimeter. Which fixing method fits depends on which of these materials is on the roof.

If a building is listed in the Hinweisinventar, I clarify the approval question with the municipal council before I drill or fix anything.
